Brandi passante made an instant celebrity after her appearance on A&E's Reality Show 'StorageWars.' It also featured Jarrod Schulz, who was Passante's partner of many years and now husband. On this show, the contents of storage lockers that the rent has not been paid for after three months are auctioned off. Brandi and Jarrod who run the "Now and Then" thrift shop located in Orange, California participated in the auction in hopes to acquire storage units for cheap prices. It was a surprise for them to become reality stars. It was a huge success due to the couple whom were extremely polite with their biddings throughout the episode, became stars. Their triumph on reality TV which boosted their business. Along with running the shop they owned the couple also opened another one. Following their appearance on the show 'Storage wars', a spin off show 'Brandi and Jarrod: Married To the Work" was made exclusively for them.
